Street harassment: Provisional freedom for the stalkers of Firdaous Yousfi

Those implicated in a case of sexual harassment and violence against the Casablanca instagramer, Firdaous Yousfi, were released on bail after the withdrawal of the complaint against them.

Firdaous Yousfi, makeup artist and Instagramer from Casablanca, is said to have withdrawn his complaint against two individuals who attacked him on December 23 in the March 2 district of the kingdom’s economic metropolis. According to informed sources in Hespress, Yousfi would have withdrawn his complaint, in the afternoon of December 27, contrary to what it let let say previously, concerning his wish to take legal action against his attackers.

However, the Casablanca Court of First Instance decided to prosecute the two individuals in provisional release following their arrest after having been identified thanks to a video recording of the complainant. The man who hit the vehicle was arrested on December 25, while his companion was arrested on the morning of December 26.

As a reminder, Firdaous Yousfi shared a video on his Instagram account, before removing it, in which we saw an act of incivism and violence on the part of two individuals.
