Hamza mon bb: Chronicle of a descent into hell

It is this Monday, January 6, that the singer Dounia Batma, at the heart of what is now known as the "Hamza mon bb" scandal, will know whether she will be prosecuted in detention, or her ban on leaving the territory formally signified.  This case, which has kept public opinion in suspense for a certain time already, concerns names known to the Moroccan artistic scene and people, notably Dounia and her sister Ibtissam Batma, who are, in fact, living a real  descent into hell.
Started as a "mediocre little joke" on social networks for the defendants in this case, they ended up in court and with heavy charges on their backs.  Blackmail, defamation… there is everything.

For those who do not know when and how the “Hamza mon bb” affair quickly degenerated, Hespress Fr looks back at the main offenses committed by the administrators of the Hamza mon BB account, on Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook, responsible for finding and sharing “  scoop ”on Moroccan celebrities, and which affected, even ruined, the life of these latter, and whose identity has never been revealed.

The beginnings of "Hamza mon bb"

It was in 2018 that Hamaza mon bb's Instagram and Snapchat account was created, but under a different name.  The first victim of this account was the Moroccan stylist Siham Badda alias Sultana.  Hamza mon bb had started by hacking the I cloud of this owner of a ready-to-wear store in the ocher city, before disclosing several conversations and "not very clear" videos concerning her and supposed to be "private",  tells Hespress Fr a knowledgeable source.
Why Sultana?  According to our source, the stylist had, in Snapchat stories, criticized the "grandiose" baptism of the daughter of singer Dounia Batma, hence the creation of the account "hamza mon bb" a few days later.  After this first scandal where this “fictitious” account had exposed cases of “prostitution and racketeering” affecting the stylist, the administrator (s) of the account took it to heart to heart in the disclosure of several cases affecting life  deprived of other Moroccan "celebrities".
Among the victims of the said account, is notably the Moroccan TV presenter Mariam Said, who saw her career ruined after a dismissal in good and due form, but also her marriage plan fell through, because of several compromising photos shared by  the “Hamza mon bb” account.  Also according to our source, the revelation of this private information of the presenter occurred immediately after the host broke into her show a dispute between Dounia Batma and her mother-in-law.
Moroccan actress Karima Gouit was also a victim of "Hamza mon bb".  A video of her engagement to a Gulf national "Khaliji" was published on the Instagram account in question and with information detailing her relationship with her fiancé, who became after her husband, according to the same account.
Moroccan singer Salma Rachid has also been in the sights of "Hamza mon Bb" for a long time.  The Instagram account shared several videos of the singer with her husband daily, revealing and criticizing several details of their private life.
Among the latest "dirty stories" exposed by the account "Hamza mon bb", there is the adultery affair of actress Najat El Ouafi with a Moroccan director.  Hamza mon bb's Instagram account shared the actress's photo when the police drove her, along with her “alleged lover”, from the door of the building where she was located, in the Gauthier district, to a vehicle  national security.  Embarrassing elements about the nature of their relationship have also been exposed.
Other Moroccan celebrities victims of "Hamza mn bb": the singer Rajaâ Belmir and her brother, Omar Belmir, the stylist Abir Berrani, the make-up artist Jawad Kanana, Doc Samada or the singer Saida Charaf.
Apart from celebrities, owners, managers and directors of well-known hotels and restaurants in Casablanca, Marrakech and Agadir have been attacked by the administrators of the alleged "Hamza mon Bb" account.  According to our source, nearly 50 complaints have been made against the account in question.
Today, the "Hamza mon Bb" affair is on all languages.  International media in France, Spain, etc., have also spoken about it, notably the involvement of singer Dounia Batma, her sister, and a Moroccan stylist Aicha Ayach, sister of the top model Biba Ayach, currently established in the Gulf.

Dounia Batma, first accused in the case

After the devastation caused by the “Hamza mon bb” account and the complaints filed, the first person “heard” in the context of this case was the singer Dounia Batma.  Last September, the finalist of the famous program "Arab Idol" was summoned for the first time by the Casablanca police.
Not at all surprising, since all the fingers were pointed at Dounia Batma and her sister, Ibtissam Batma, insists our source, adding that the singer "was the only one, as if by pure chance, which the account administrator did not speak, and  even when he mentioned her, it was to throw flowers at her and say that she had no connection with the account. "  Even the celebrities attacked by the famous account "Hamza mon Bb" alluded to her, but without naming her frankly in their statement to the press.
The first person to reveal their names was another "accomplice", Soukaina Jannah alias "Glamor" a stylist who resides in the ocher city, and who recognized, during his hearing by the elements of the police, that Dounia Batma as well as  his sister are both behind the fake account of "Hamza mon bb"
The singer was heard a second time by the National Brigade of the judicial police in the metropolis on December 26, after her arrival from Barheïn.  His sister, Ibtissam Batma, also involved in the case, was arrested two days earlier and placed in pre-trial detention at the local Oudaya prison in Marrakech.
The latter was finally granted provisional release after paying bail of 100,000 dirhams, while the singer, also prosecuted on bail, paid bail of 300,000 dirhams.  The first hearing for this trial is scheduled for February 10, 2020 at the Marrakech Court of First Instance.  In the meantime, Dounia Batma's passport and her mobile phone have been requisitioned, as well as being prohibited from leaving the territory.

 Attempt to flee abroad?

Another twist in this case: This Friday, January 3, the singer was transferred to Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, by the border police.
Attempting to sneak away?  No, said her husband and manager, Mohamed Turk, assuring that she came to accompany him because he had a flight to Bahrain, which he ultimately did not take.
"Dounia did not intend to travel, she only had to accompany me," he said, adding that even if Dounia Batma's passport has been returned to her, she still cannot leave Morocco as long  that the investigation procedure is under way.

A version which was more or less denied by the singer's lawyer, Me Meriem Idrissi, who indicated that "Dounia Batma made a mistake while going to the airport to leave Morocco.  The border police have a "black list" of people banned from leaving the country before the end of the judicial investigation. "  So there would have been an attempt to escape?
Recall that what is criticized today for the sisters Dounia and Ibtissam Batma, is not trivial, especially with the entry into force of Law No. 09-08 on the protection of personal data.  They will have to answer heavy accusations relating to "participation in fraudulent access to the computerized data processing system and dissemination of images and statements of others without their consent, with the aim of harming or defaming"  .
If the charges are established and proven, article 57 of the said law stipulates that »Is punished by imprisonment from three months to one year and a fine of 50,000 to 300,000 DH or one of these two penalties  only anyone who processes, without the express consent of the persons concerned, the processing of personal data which, directly or indirectly, reveals racial or ethnic origins, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership of persons or which is related  to her health.  The same penalties apply to anyone who processes personal data relating to offenses, convictions or security measures. ”

The moroccan Benson shoes brand history

Culture, luxury and traditions: once upon a time ... the Benson Shoes, the Moroccan shoes that hit the streets abroad Germany, France, Belgium, Ivory Coast, Congo ... How did the Moroccan Benson Shoes conquer the world? The history of Benson Shoes is not trivial and serves as a homegrown success story.  The history of this luxury shoe begins in 1963, when Abdelaziz Benamour entered the footwear trade in Casablanca with his company Les Etablissements Idéal, first manufacturing hand-sewn boots for the army. At the end of the 1980s, Mohamed Benamour, the founder's son, joined the father's business and diversified the company's products while training craftsmen in new, more modern manufacturing processes.  After military and safety shoes, it is time to take a new step with the manufacture of luxury shoes, inspired by English models.
